LEEANN JAMES
Having fallen in love with ballroom and latin dance at an early age, LeeAnn had every intention of becoming a professional dancer. However her love of singing took over and she decided that was the road to take. Now an accomplished vocalist in many different genres of music (although her heart lies swing and big band music) LeeAnn loves to entertain and has performed at many top venues both here in the UK and abroad.
Professionally trained, LeeAnn
has performed across the
country at many top venues,
and has also appeared at
the renowned "Oscars Ball"
in Bahrain, and at
the prestigious Husa Golf
Resorts, Mallorca, winning
rave reviews and securing
return bookings at both venues.
Strictly Cabaret came about after many of LeeAnns friends in the dancing world expressed their frustration at the fact that unless they hired a band, which a lot of organisations can't afford, they never got the chance to dance to live music that specialised in ballroom and latin.
LeeAnn had the idea of putting a show together which not only gave people a chance to dance to live music, but also fulfilled an ambition for LeeAnn to sing some of her favourite classic songs whilst watching people dance in the style that she loves to dance herself! With Ballroom and latin dancing now being more popular than ever, Strictly Cabaret has never been busier!
With the popularity of Ballroom dancing at an all time high, Strictly Cabaret has gone from strength to strength, and is now booked on a regular basis for events as diverse as top hotels and corporate venues, smaller community clubs and organisations, fund raisers and charity balls!!
